Marshall – Built To Take with you On the Road
Are you on the lookout for the ideal speaker? Depending of course whether you’re looking for a portable solution or fixed. Well the iconic music brand Marshall has all the range that you seek. From earphone/headphones to speakers – you name it! I am a huge fan of Marshall speakers, for all those who are not really familiar with the Brand. I had discussed in my previous blog – but to give you a little recap and snippet. Marshall is an English Brand, founded by Jim Marshall who are heavily associated with larger speakers and amplifiers. With their success in the 70’s and 80’s Marshall now has been able to focus on home/portable speakers for our everyday use.
Who would have thought Marshall would ever have their own portable series. But with the successive launch of their portable series, it offers you a range of series depending on your budget. Their lowest segment in the portable series is the Stockwell II, a 25W speaker weighing only 1.38kg, packed with a solid punch irrespective of its pint-sized frame. Providing a multi-directional experience with Bluetooth and AUX connectivity, IPX4 rated speaker – meaning it is water resistant. The speaker enables you to customize your sound according to your music, with a top panel features analogue control knobs for bass, treble and volume. One key feature about the Stockwell II is it offers you Quick Charge – meaning in 20 minutes charge the speaker gives 6 hours of playtime (quick charge). The only speaker offering your quick charge feature.
The speaker just above the Stockwell II is the Kilburn II a 36W speaker giving you the same the features as the Stockwell II. The highest variant in the portable series of Marshall is the Tufton, an 80W speaker offering a multi-directional experience with Bluetooth and 3.5mm AUX connectivity, IPX4 rated speaker – meaning it is water resistant. The speaker enables you to customize your sound according to your music, with a top panel features analogue control knobs for bass, treble and volume. What differentiates the portable speakers from each other is the sound output and a few key features. Depending on what your budget and requirement is, you have the option to choose from the three portable series. Keeping in mind that all of them will give you upto 20hrs of playtime.
The Marshall portable series is the perfect companion to have along on a road trip, or even on a party/gathering with a your group of friends. The looks have not been compromised, as they wanted to retain the original look of the Marshall amplifiers and keep the retro look with the grills. Now you a retro looking speaker with all you modern touch that you need to enjoy your music.
